HCM-5000P Series Prism Machines Ship wt. 1,700 lbs. (771kg) Draw Rod Assembly Draw rods are included with all masonry model machines with manual controllers. For machines with HCM-5080 and HCM-5070 the Draw Rod Assembly must be ordered separately. The draw rod system is used to adjust the inside vertical working height of the load frame, to allow for test- ing samples of different heights through the use of spacers and test platens. The system is made up of a steel hand wheel with internal ball bearings and a threaded rod that is easily raised or low- ered inside the load frame for height adjustment.
