This test method covers the quantitative determination of the calcium carbonate (CaCO3) content of soils. It is a gasometric method that utilizes a simple portable apparatus. The test method is quickly performed for soils containing calcium carbonate. The acrylic chamber is 2.5" ID x 5.5" long and sealed with anodized end caps. The unit comes complete with 10psi test gauge, bleed valve and a 20ml cup with handle.
